Update

The old struggle: Europe or Asia ?

The English Wikipedia finds a very smart solution:

"Georgia (Georgian: საქართველო, transliterated as Sakartvelo), known officially from 1990 to 1995 as the Republic of Georgia, is a country in Eurasia (Eastern Europe/Western Asia)[1]. to the east of the Black Sea, most of which is located in the South Caucasus, while a portion of the territory lies in the North Caucasus."

Stalin Birthplace Museum Gori, Georgia May 20, 2006

by Mr. Colin Guard

Just a week ago I have also been again in this famous Museum, with its super strange atmosphere. I thank god, that I did not have to live in those dark times (maybe they haven't been that dark, but I imagine it like that.) By the way, after leaving the museum I was much impressed by the beauty of the Georgian women from Gori.

Imereti, Chiatura and Kutaisi

Back from Western Georgia with a veteran of WWII and former POW in Chiatura I added a couple of Kilos thanks to the superb Georgian food and dishes.

On the above photo in a Restaurant at Geguti outside of Kutaisi I had my best Ojakhuri (Backed potatoes mixed with beef) in my life. The owner JUSA was a very kind guy, who brang next morning the best Kababi with cold beer...

Landslide Church Mleta

kirche-mleta
4th of May, Mleta. I think this is a famous church of Holy George, but I am not 100% sure. I was faszinated how this building withstands the tons of earth, mud and stones. Perfectly built, for eternity.
